A Sense of Humor During WWII


My husband's grandfather is 2nd to the left in front kneeling ~ Forrest Pointer ~ In Iceland during WW2 at  Camp Kwitchwebelliakin, a.k.a., Camp 'They-Got-A-Sense-of-Humor' . [Snort.]

Great picture!You know they had more than a few things they could complain about being stationed in Iceland. But, instead, decided to be humorous and positive. A good lesson for all of us. Thanks for sharing this one.

My Nana had a sign that read Kwitchbelliakin in her kitchen. Next to the wooden switch and the big wooden spoon! No one ever spoke fresh to Nana!
